Do you want to get fit but don’t have time to exercise? Want to drop some pounds but can’t afford the modern luxuries of an upscale gym membership or a private trainer? You are in luck! There are many different ways to stay fit while on the go! Here are some ways you can stay fit this fall:
Take the stairs - Stairs are often a great alternative to taking the elevator. Choosing the stairs over the elevator can burn calories and increase muscle strength.
Plan Ahead - Planning things such as meals and exercise can be beneficial when you do not have access to a gym. Meal-prepping can help avoid buying fast food or hitting the vending machine during the day.
Don’t take shortcuts - Take the long way as opposed to taking shortcuts. For example: use the restroom further away from your office.
Snack smart - Instead of consuming processed snacks like chips, have snacks that increase your protein intake such as cheese and nuts. These will keep you full faster without a ton of empty calories.
Work smarter not harder - If you are not able to do a 30 minute workout, break the workout down into three 10 minute increments.
