To us, it means a super exciting time for staff, board members, volunteers, allies, community partners, and everyone alike to come together for one common goal – to raise funds that will help educate and empower communities to thrive nutritiously by eradicating food deserts and food insecurity in Wards, Wards 4, 5, 7, and 8 in Washington, D.C.

Fundraising is a big task for any nonprofit organization but it is very rewarding for everyone involved from the person that is organizing the event to the communities where the funds will make a difference.
